Podiatrist to present program ‘all about feet’

WAYNESBURG – Southwest Regional Medical Center and podiatrist Dr. Darlene Saheta will present a program on “all about feet” and how to get them ready for spring. The event will be held at 6 p.m. April 24 in the second floor Guesman room.
The evening will begin with Charlene Mitchell of Sheer Dreams in Jefferson who will offer pedicure tips. Diabetic foot screenings will also be offered in conjunction with the SRMC Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center.
Dr. Saheta will discuss foot ailments and conditions and offer tips on how to take good care of them. There are many conditions which place feet at risk, including bunions, calluses and nail infections. There are also many treatments that can help you get your feet sandal ready.
