Old Route 71 in Fallowfield to close

A section of Old Route 71 (Route 2016) in Fallowfield will be closed between May 6 and June 30 so that a slide can be repaired, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The section of Old Route 71 that will be closed is between Zippay Road and Brewster Street. A marked detour will be in place that uses Route 481, Interstate 70 and Route 88.
