TREVOSE (AP) – A sport utility vehicle abandoned on railroad tracks was struck by a regional commuter train in suburban Philadelphia.

It happened around 6 p.m. Friday between the Neshaminy Falls and Trevose stations in Bucks County.

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority officials said the Philadelphia-bound Regional Rail train on the West Trenton line struck the empty SUV that was left on the tracks.

SEPTA said there were no injuries reported to passengers or crew.

Investigators at the scene were told that a group of teenagers were spotted running from the scene at the time of the accident.
