Southwest Pennsylvania Water Authority will flush hydrants next week in Gray and Richhill townships. Customers in those areas may experience a temporary drop in pressure, loss of pressure or discolored water.

A lunch and rummage sale will be held Thursday and Friday at the Washington Street United Methodist Church. On both days, lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the rummage sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch takeout is available as are local deliveries by calling 724-627-3240.

Flenniken Public Library in Carmichaels will host a program on UFOs at 1 p.m. Saturday. Fred Saluga, West Virginia MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) state director, will present a program, “Are UFOs really out there?” Saluga will cover where UFOs are from, why they are here, the evidence that UFOs have left on Earth, and the UFO Hynek classifications.

The Carmichaels Ministerium will sponsor a night of worship and revival at 6 p.m. Sunday at the Cornerstone Ministry Center at 381 Willis Road, Jefferson. Jonathan Shuttlesworth, a guest on Cornerstone Television, Faith Alive and other television programs, will lead the services. The Mt. Morris Lions Club will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Mt. Morris Fire Hall. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Takeouts are available.
