DUI Crash: Nicole L. Spencer, 32, of New Freeport was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and resisting arrest following a crash at 4 p.m. Monday on Main Street in New Freeport. Police said Spencer left the scene and was found at a home in New Freeport. She showed signs of intoxication and resisted arrest. Spencer was arraigned before District Judge Glenn Bates and placed in the Greene County jail on $5,000 bond.

DUI operation: Two people were charged with DUI following a DUI sobriety checkpoint conducted by state police, Waynesburg Patrol Unit, Friday evening at various locations on Route 88. Police said 71 motorists were stopped; 24 traffic citations and 19 written warnings were issued.
