Throckmorton United Methodist Church will hold a free community dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. today. The menu will include hot roast beef sandwiches, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, desserts and drinks. Donations are accepted and takeout is available. Everyone is welcome.

Southwestern Pennsylvania Water Authority will shut off water between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday on Route 221 between Country Club Road and Meadowbrook Lane to upgrade the system. Customers may experience low pressure or no water and are advised to keep some containers of water to minimize the outage.
