Peters Township police are investigating several incidents of vandalism, and two 17-year-old township boys reportedly have admitted their involvement. Police said two other young men are believed to have been involved.

A 3-foot bronze statue in the yard of a house in the 100 block of Iron Horse Drive was removed from the yard and placed in the street before 10:56 p.m Thursday. Thursday afternoon, one house was struck by eggs, and another in the 300 block of Venetia Road had a sign in the front yard pulled out. A nearby resident witnessed four young boys in the front yard pulling out the realty sign, and when the resident chased the boys, they fled in a black sport utility vehicle. A short time later, the SUV was found in the driveway of a township residence, and two of the boys inside admitted their guilt, police said. Police are still attempting to locate the other two suspects.

Elsewhere, trash was dumped in and around a fountain in the yard of a house in the 100 block of Hardwood Drive Friday morning, and someone damaged a light pillar, valued at $250, late Friday in the 200 block of Farmington Drive.
