Three sentenced in county court

WAYNESBURG – Three people who pleaded guilty in Greene County Court were sentenced Wednesday by Judge Farley Toothman. They were:
John Fredrick Jordan Jr., 35, of 111 Fairview Ave., Jefferson; offenses – driving under the influence of alcohol and three summary traffic violations. Jordan was arrested March 23 following a traffic stop in Cumberland Township. Police said Jordan passed two vehicles in a no-passing zone just before a turn while traveling east on Roy Furman Highway. His blood-alcohol content was 0.172 percent; sentence – 90-days to five years in Greene County prison to be served on weekends. Jordan was fined $1,500 plus court costs and fees. He is to serve 225 hours of community service.
Herbert Edward Gump Jr., 41, 1418 Canadian Court, Virginia Beach, Va.; offenses – DUI and accidents involving damage to vehicles or property. Gump was arrested Dec. 22, 2013, in Dunkard Township. His BAC was 0.138 percent; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail consecutive to a previous sentence. Gump was given permission to serve the sentence in Virginia. He was ordered to pay fines of $800 plus court costs and fees. His driver’s license was suspended for 30 days.
Tabitha Lee Walls, 28, of 2700 Golden Oaks Road, Holbrook; offenses – delivery of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Walls was arrested Sept. 8, 2011, for selling $150 of heroin on South Washington Street in Waynesburg Borough; sentence – 5 years county intermediate punishment with the first 12 months on house arrest. Walls was ordered to attend Greene County re-entry court each month, beginning Sept. 15. She was ordered to pay fines of $750 plus court costs and fees.
