Siding damaged: Andy Barish of 105 Center Ave., Burgettstown, told McDonald police Friday the siding of his home was damaged when hit by shots from a BB gun.

Resisting arrest, drunkenness charges: Christopher E. Bushey, 22, of Cavetown, Md., will be charged by California police with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness stemming from an incident early Monday in the 300 block of Third Street. Police said he was reportedly yelling racial slurs as he walked on the street. When he was confronted by police, he reportedly resisted and became combative. He was taken to the California University of Pennsylvania infirmary for observation because of his high level of intoxication. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Fleeing, disorderly charges: Michael James Amos, 23, of Washington, will be charged by California police with flight to avoid apprehension, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct after he reportedly ran from a vehicle being stopped by police. Police were conducting a stop on a suspect vehicle in an unrelated matter. Amos reportedly bailed out and started running in what police said appeared to be an attempt to divert the attention of police. He was taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital for treatment because of his apparent high level of intoxication. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Mischief charge: Danae Burgwin, 22, of West Mifflin, will be charged by California police with criminal mischief stemming from an Aug. 21 incident in the 500 block of Fourth Street. She is accused of trying to use a cellphone without the owner’s permission. When the owner objected, Burgwin reportedly slammed the phone to the ground, breaking it. The iPhone was valued at $300. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
