MAPLETOWN – At its annual reorganization meeting Monday, Southeastern Greene School Board re-elected Joe Spiker president.
No other candidate was nominated for the post. Spiker, who has served on the board for more than 25 years, will serve his second consecutive year as board president.
The board elected Gary Moser as vice president.
He, too, was the only nominee. Board member Janet Pennington currently holds the position.
The board re-appointed Tim Berggren board solicitor. He will continue to charge $100 an hour.
The board agreed to continue to meet the fourth Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. The exceptions are May, when the board will meet May 18; November, when the board will meet Nov. 16; and December, when the board will meet Dec. 7.
