Jewelry stolen: Danielle Colbert of 522 Wayne St., Canton, told state police Dec. 5 that jewelry was stolen from her bedroom when her home was burglarized. It appears the burglar entered the home through a rear door.
Driver injured: Selina R. Nuccetelli, 18, of Fredericktown, was injured Tuesday when her vehicle hit a deer on Horton Road at Ridgewood Drive, Deemston, and rolled over, state police said. She was taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital for treatment.
Theft: On Dec. 11, $32 worth of cosmetics were stolen from CVS, 3870 Washington Road, police said.
One injured: Holly Zaricki, 44, of Washington, will be charged by state police with a stop sign violation following a crash about noon Wednesday at the ramp from Murtland Avenue to Interstate 70 westbound, South Strabane. Police said she failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a vehicle driven by Lacey Dunaway, 23, of Wheeling, W.Va. Dunaway was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.
Father arrested: Charles Morris, 52, of 1200 Fayette St., Washington, was arrested early Thursday by Washington police for allegedly punching his son, Brian Allen, at their home and threatening to kill him. He was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis on charges of simple assault and terroristic threats. He was placed in Washington County jail on $1,500 bond.
Shovel stolen: William Phillips of Allison Avenue told Washington police Wednesday that a small shovel was stolen from his back porch. He said it also appeared an attempt was made to tamper with a window at his home.
