After last week, when no one was able to identify any of the 10 children in our Mystery Photo, we’re hoping that at least one of our readers might recognize the two men standing with a horse and two colts.

This image was made from a negative stored in a box marked “1947.” That’s the only thing we know about it. We’re wondering if the mare gave birth to twins – an unusual enough event to summon a newspaper photographer. A farmhouse is visible in the background, but there is no other clue as to where in Washington or Greene County this picture might have been taken.
