Corner Cupboard Food Bank selects executive director
WAYNESBURG – The Corner Cupboard Food Bank announced Maribeth Coote of Graysville joined its team as executive director. Coote will be working to manage and operate the current food assistance programs through Corner Cupboard and to improve the sustainability of the organization.
“Maribeth brings a fresh perspective to our organization, and we’re excited to welcome her,” said Kelly Stepp, vice president of the food bank board. “We’re looking forward to the progress of the organization through Maribeth’s positivity and commitment to serving her community,” she said.
Coote comes with background experience in non-profit organizations and small business management. Prior to this position, she worked for Habitat for Humanity of Greene County, Hospice Care Inc., Direct Results and Jonathan David Woodworking.
“I am excited to start a new challenge within the Corner Cupboard Food Bank and look forward to working with our dedicated team of pantry coordinators to work together and feed our neighbors,” Coote said.
