State police conducted a DUI checkpoint Dec. 19 on Route 844 (Jefferson Avenue) in Canton Township.

Police made seven DUI arrests, along with one arrest for fleeing/eluding, three arrests for drug possession and one arrest for underage drinking. Police also issued 34 traffic citations.
