One dead, two firefighters hurt in W.Pa. house fire

DUQUESNE (AP) – One person was killed and two firefighters were injured in a house fire near Pittsburgh.

WPXI-TV reports flames could be seen shooting early Tuesday from the windows and roof of the home on Friendship Street in Duquesne.

The fire started around 1 a.m. WPXI says it threatened other homes.

The firefighters’ conditions were not immediately released.

A fire marshal is investigating.
