WAYNESBURG – Several criminal defendants pleaded guilty Wednesday before Greene County Judge Farley Toothman. They included the following:

David Allen Royer, 24, of 2018 E. Finley Dr., Claysville; offense – theft from a motor vehicle and driving while operating privileges were suspended. Royer was arrested for stealing $30 from a vehicle in Cumberland Township on April 22; sentence – 60 days to 23 ½ months probation consecutive to a sentence in Washington County. Royer is to pay $30 restitution to Patrick Bowser in addition to a $300 fine, court costs and fees and to serve 100 hours community service.

Kristin Marie Mull, 24, of Clarksville; offense – theft by unlawful taking. Mull was arrested for stealing $49 from a Greene County Humane Society donation box Sept. 16 at the Rices Landing Giant Eagle; sentence – one year probation to run consecutively to a sentence in Allegheny County for endangering the welfare of children. Mull is ordered to pay $49 restitution to the Greene County Humane Society, plus a $200 fine, court costs and fees and to serve 50 hours of community service. She was returned to Washington County to face multiple charges there.

Andrew Michael Novak, 27, of 21 E. Franklin Ave., Bobtown; offenses – driving after consuming a controlled substance and six summary violations. Novak was arrested July 2 after he ran his car into the Pinkney residence on Route 88 in Jefferson. Novak told the court he was under the influence of several nonprescribed prescription drugs at the time of the accident; sentencene -72 hours to six months incarceration consecutive to a sentence in Allegheny County. Novak was ordered to pay $1,110 in fines plus court costs and fees. He was further ordered to pay $27.95 restitution to the state Department of Transportation and to perform 150 hours of community service.

George Allen Rickard, 42, of 30 S. Maiden St., Waynesburg; offenses – driving under the influence of alcohol and three summary violations. Rickard was arrested in Perry Township on Feb. 11 with a blood-alcohol content of 0.143 percent after he ran a stop sign; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail. Rickard was ordered to pay $575 in fines plus court costs and fees and to perform 150 hours of community service.

Ryan Avery Vaughn Tyler, of Washington; offenses – theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property. Tyler was arrested for stealing $180 from a car parked in front of 405 Route 88 in Carmichaels July 17; sentence – 13 days to 23 ½ months in jail with credit for time served. Tyler was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $180 to Brandon Carter, fines, court costs and fees.
