Cornerstone Genealogical Society’s meeting scheduled today has been canceled due to the weather. The next meeting will be March 11. The topic will be a presentation on the history of nursery rhymes.

Xi Lambda Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will hold its birthday dinner at 6 p.m. Thursday at The Lodge at Rohanna’s. Those attending are asked to bring a non-revealing birthday gift.

The 20th Century Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church. The hostesses for the meeting will be Fran Hardy and Suzanne Cole. All members are encouraged to attend.

A square dance, also line dancing, polkas, cake walk and more, will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at Rogersville fire hall. Caller will be Dave Dahl. Cost is $5 per person or $8 per couple. Food and drinks will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Center Township Volunteer Fire Department. For more information, call 724-499-5385.
