Man shot: David Fetsko, 30, of Bentleyville, was injured Tuesday afternoon when he was shot in the buttocks with a pellet-type gun while in a wooded area in Marianna, state police said. He was taken to Canonsburg Hospital and then transferred to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he was treated and released. Police do not know who fired the shot and the investigation is continuing.

Theft case: Michael Milla Rodriguez, 26, of 987 Thompson Ave., Donora, and Jennifer Lee Massare, 22, of 128 1/2 Downer St., Monongahela, are charged by city police with theft and conspiracy, court records show. Police accused them of stealing a purse containing checks and $60 from Tabatha M. Maloney Feb. 1 while they were at Jim’s Bar, 163 W. Main St., the affidavit indicates. Police said they retrieved the stolen purse the next day at Massare’s residence, where they also seized four Zanax tablets and six doses of Suboxone. Rodriguez and Massare, who also faces a drug possession charge, are free on $10,000 bonds after being arrested Monday and arraigned before District Judge Mark Wilson.

Retail theft: Savon Michelle Seaton, 22, of 203 Pleasant Ridge Road, McKees Rocks, was charged by North Franklin police with retail theft for allegedly attempting to steal purses and wallets valued at $1,178 from Macy’s at Washington Crown Center Tuesday. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

One injured: Gary Lemley, 35, of Charleroi, suffered a head injury Tuesday morning when his vehicle collided head-on with a vehicle driven by John Kovach, 87, of Eighty Four in the 900 block of Thomas-Eighty Four Road. North Strabane police said Lemley lost control on a sharp bend and his vehicle spun into the southbound lane. Lemley was flown to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment.

Restaurant cited: The operators of Table Lakeside, 200 N. Lakeside Drive, North Strabane, were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control for having a loudspeaker or similar device outside the premises.

House burglarized: An elderly Somerset man told state police Tuesday that his home in the 300 block of Brownlee Road was burglarized and items valued at $1,800 were stolen.

One injured: Richard Malinak, 83, of Washington, was slightly injured Tuesday morning when his vehicle hit a Fed Ex delivery truck that was parked as the driver made a delivery on Locust Avenue near Nannie Street. Malinak told South Strabane police he did not see the truck. A witness told police the truck had hazard lights flashing.

Woman arrested: Jessica Kimble, 27, of Fairmont, W.Va., was arrested on two charges by South Strabane police. Walmart security called police after reportedly watching Kimble remove items valued at $259 from packaging and putting them in her purse. Police also determined she is wanted on a fugitive warrant in Belmont County, Ohio, for failure to appear for a hearing. The arrest warrant was issued June 1, 2012. She was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson, who set bail at $5,000 on the retail theft charge and no bond on the fugitive from justice charge. She was placed in Washington County jail pending extradition to Ohio.

Woman assaulted: Eric Rousseau, 42, of 130 Phillips St., Speers, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse him of choking a woman about 10:20 a.m. Monday at his residence, the affidavit states. He is in Washington County jail on $10,000 set Monday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Drug charge: Rodney G. Long-Kelley, 20, of 925 Addison St., Washington, was charged by city police with criminal trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having seven empty stamp bags and two syringes inside his coat Jan. 18 in the 100 block of Jollick Manor. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
