Items stolen: An employee of a cleaning company, Apex Management of Beaver, reported a set of keys and a vacuum valued at $50 missing from a front closet in a building at 555 Southpointe Boulevard, township police said. The stolen items were reported at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police said the items may have been stolen by a company employee who was fired Tuesday.

Prowler reported: Justin C. Kriest and Angela Swiger of 206 E. Barr St. told McDonald police a man dressed in black was peering in the window of their home about 7 a.m. Wednesday. Police checked the area but could not locate the culprit.

Hit-and-run: A driver told township police she was traveling on Ivy Lane at 9:01 a.m. Thursday when she saw another driver in a gold Cadillac Escalade coming toward her in the same lane. The driver told police she moved to the right of her lane to avoid a collision. However, the other driver’s vehicle struck her driver’s side, knocking off the mirror, and continued on, police said.
