Burglary: Welding leads were stolen from a building at Chess Coal Co. in Dilliner between 2 p.m. Feb. 8 and 10 a.m. Feb. 9, state police said.

Theft: Copper and brass were stolen from the Dunkard Valley Water Authority in Greensboro between Jan. 10 and Jan. 21, state police said.

Burglary: A torpedo heater and copper wire were stolen from the Cumberland Coal Resources water treatment plant on Alicia Road between 7 a.m. Feb. 5 and 5 a.m. Feb. 6, state police said.

Theft: A generator and hand tools were stolen from EMATS, 869 N. Eighty Eight Road between Jan. 26 and Jan. 27, state police said.

Drug and DUI charges: Logan Durell Stacher, 33, of 53 Montgomery Ave., Waynesburg, was charged by state police with DUI of alcohol, marijuana and oxycodone, as well as possession of marijuana in connection with a May 7, 2012, traffic stop on Main Street, Washington, Washington County. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Theft: Eight 12-volt batteries were stolen from a construction site on Lemley Road between Jan. 7 and Jan. 8, state police said. The stolen property is owned by Swank Construction Co. of New Kensington. During the same period, two chainsaws and a grease gun were stolen from Swank’s site on Kirby Road near the Interstate 79 interchange.
