Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges.
Appearing before Judge John F. DiSalle were:
David M. Sexton, 29, of 20 Ward St., Washington; driving under the influence of alcohol; charged Oct. 25, 2009; sentence – 30 days to six months in jail, $1,750 fine.
Shawn Ian Bistarkey, 34, of Slovan; DUI and operating without a valid inspection; charged March 30; sentence – 10 days to six months of electric home monitoring, $525 fine.
Benjamin J. Sickles, 23, of 70 W. Katherine Ave., Washington; DUI; charged Aug. 3; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail to be served on weekends, 12-month driver’s license suspension, $1,000 fine.
Donald N. Schneider, 35, of 863 E. Wheeling St., Washington; DUI; charged June 21; sentence – 6 to 18 months on electric home monitoring with work release, $1,500 fine, restitution, 18-month driver’s license suspension.
David Jeffrey Plants, 45, of 306 E. Buffalo Church Road, Washington; DUI; charged Aug. 16; sentence – 6 to 18 months of electric home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension.
Michael S. Stacy, 28, of 1109 Robinson Highway, McDonald; false reports; charged Oct. 2; sentence – 6 months of probation and drug and alcohol evaluation.
Paul T. Scagline, 27, of 711 Washington Ave., Charleroi; receiving stolen property; charged Oct. 6; sentence – 6 months of probation and no contact with victim.
Austin S. Tawney, 23, of Jane Lew, W.Va.; DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Sept. 20, 2012; sentence – 10 days to 6 months in jail followed by 12 months of probation; $1,000 fine, drug and alcohol evaluation, 12-months driver’s license suspension.
Robert S. Stevens, 38, of 181 Barney’s Run Road, Fredericktown; theft; charged Sept. 6; sentence – 2 to 23 months in jail, $5,000 in restitution, drug and alcohol evaluation, no contact with victim and must attend Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
Waylon C. Muniz, 19, of 201 Meadow Alley, Marianna; theft and theft of a motor vehicle; charged June 11; sentence – 1 year of probation and $100 in restitution.
Glenn W. Holden, 24, of 137 N. Haft St., Houston, DUI; charged July 17; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail; $500 fine, 12-month driver’s license suspension.
Frank M. Howard Jr., 65, of 400 Justabout Road, Venetia; unsworn falsification; charged Oct. 10, 2010; sentence – 12 months of probation and drug and alcohol evaluation.
Christina S. Grayson, 28, of 595 Maple Ave., Washington; retail theft; charged Nov.19; sentence – 12 months of probation, retail theft education classes and no contact with Walmart.
Trevor A. Smith, 30, of 720 W. Chestnut St., Washington; theft; charged Oct.9; sentence – 12 months of probation, $250 in restitution, and no contact with victim.
Shawn M. Fletcher, 29, of Langeloth; burglary; charged Sept. 4, 2010; sentence – 2 to 23 months in jail, $4,750 in restitution and no contact with victim.
Nickolas A. Donofrio, 22, of Pittsburgh; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged June 19; sentence – 12 months of probation, drug and alcohol elevation and must complete GED.
David A. Jackson, 23, of 219 Crest Ave., Charleroi; disorderly conduct; charged Dec. 26; sentence – 12 months of probation, drug and alcohol and anger management evaluation.
Andrew Seykoski, 40, of 915 Prospect Ave., Charleroi; simple assault; charged Dec. 10, 2010; sentence – 18 months of probation, drug and alcohol evaluation, no contact with the victim and mental health evaluation.
Jesse R. Jankowski, 24, of 66 Laurel Ave., Washington; theft by deception and retail theft; charged Dec. 6 and Dec. 9, 2012; sentence – 24 months of probation, restitution, banned from Walmart.
Jessica Smith, 27, of 849 Henderson Ave., Washington; fraud to obtain food stamps; charged April 11, 2011; sentence – 2 to 23 months of electric home monitoring, $6,049 in restitution, ineligible for public assistance during home monitoring.
Martin Sullenberger, 78, of Millsboro; indecent assault; charged June 25; sentence -23 months of probation, mental health treatment, no contact with victim, perpetrator counseling, banned from Family Dollar and must comply with Megan’s Law registration for 15 years.
Robert W. Keeling, 35, of 152 Route 231 North, Claysville; terroristic threats; charged March 14, 2010; sentence – 24 months of probation, $4,100 in restitution, no contact with victim or family, banned from owning or possessing firearms, drug and alcohol evaluation and anger management.
Justin W. Sutton, 33, of 616 ½ Conrad Ave., Charleroi; making false statements; charged Jan. 9, 2013; sentence – 11 1/2 to 23 months in jail with work release.
Julie Ann Crouse, 34, of 636 Addison St., Washington; theft by deception and retail theft; charged Sept. 25; sentence – 12 months of probation, banned from Walmart, retail theft classes.

Michael A. Grant, 32, of 572 Joffre Cherry Valley Road, Burgettstown; reckless endangerment; charged Oct. 9; sentence – 18 months of probation and mental health evaluation.
Roscoe E. Wilson, 34, of Parkersburg, W.Va.; theft and conspiracy; charged July 24; sentence – 23 months of probation, drug and alcohol evaluation and $150 restitution.
Leah C. Harris, 50, of 219 McKean Ave, Charleroi; two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 24 and 28; sentence – 23 months of probation, drug and alcohol evaluation.
Michael H. Runski, 55, of 105 Neville St., New Eagle; terroristic threats and simple assault; charged Oct. 6; sentence – 2 years of probation, 25 hours of community service, drug and alcohol evaluation and a mental health evaluation.
Charlene J. Ayers, 31, of Pittsburgh; retail theft and theft by deception; charged Aug. 4; sentence – 15 days to 12 months in jail to be served on weekends, drug and alcohol evaluation, retail theft classes and no contact with Walmart.
Carol L. Luzzi, 43, of 621 Fourth St., Donora; retail theft; charged Sept. 12; sentence – 45 days to 23 months on electric home monitoring, drug and alcohol evaluation, retail theft classes and no contact with Giant Eagle.

Brittney D. Rine of 130 May Ave., Washington; harassment; charged April 22, 2010; sentence – credit for time served.
Jesse A. Leyda, 26, of 403 Short St., Belle Vernon; retail theft; charged July 5, 2012; sentence – credit for time served.
Dale W. Cianflone, 48, of 129 North Ave., Washington; simple assault; charged Dec. 8; sentence – 9 to 23 months in jail with 2 months being served in jail and the remainder on electric home monitoring, drug and alcohol evaluation and anger management and domestic violence counseling.
Ashley M. Liptak, 29, of Uniontown; retail theft and drug paraphernalia possession; charged Aug. 30; sentence – 18 months of probation, no contact with Walmart, drug and alcohol evaluation.
Gary A. Danforth, 32, of Carmichaels; forgery; charged May 30; sentence – 30 days to 23 months in jail with credit for time served and drug and alcohol evaluation.
John R. Brush, 49, of 302 Carriage Hill Drive, McMurray; DUI; charged May 5; sentence – 15 days to 6 months on electric home monitoring, $300 fine and a 12-month license suspension.
Laura A. Schwimer, 31, of 208 Quail Run Road, Venetia; two counts of harassment; charged July 24; sentence – $600 fine.
James O. Miller, 26, of 205 Lancelot Circle, Belle Vernon; theft; charged June 16; sentence – 9 to 23 months in jail on work release.
Mark A. Sperduti, 36, of Carnegie; retail theft; charged July 5; sentence – 6 to 23 month on home monitoring, 5 years of probation, no contact with CVS, and drug and alcohol evaluation.
Nicholas J. Fincik, 31, of 131 Thompson Ave., Donora; endangering the welfare of a child, tampering with evidence and false reports; charged Aug. 12, 2012; sentence – 90 days to 23 months in jail; $14,486 in restitution.
Gregory R. Hetrick, 24, of 576 Park Way, Monongahela; theft and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged May 29; sentence – 18 months of probation.
Martin Moser, 32, of 711 Washington Ave., Charleroi; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Aug. 7; sentence – 6 to 12 months on electric home monitoring, continue inpatient treatment, no contact with drugs users and abstain from drug and alcohol use.
Donicia M. Shaw, 27, of Pittsburgh; retail theft; charged June 1; sentence – 12 months of probation, no contact with TJ Maxx, and drug and alcohol evaluation.
Several people were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for first offenders. If they successfully complete the program they can petition the court to have their records expunged.
Charles M. Schons, 59, of 187 S. McDonald St., McDonald; was admitted for 6 months on a gambling charge. He was charged March 27.
Richard J. Rubican, 41, of 103 Scenic Ridge Drive, Venetia; was admitted for 12 months for DUI and given a 30-day license suspension. He was charged Oct. 9.
Bryan D. Hoessler, 26, of 48 Pacer Ridge Drive, Canonsburg; was admitted for 12 months for DUI and given a 30-day license suspension. He was charged Sept. 13.
