Ian Mitchell Bish

WAYNESBURG – Waynesburg Central High School seniors Hillary Noel Berry and Ian Mitchell Bish were selected by the high school faculty as Waynesburg Lions Club’s students of the month for February.

Berry, daughter of Michael and Rachelle Berry, Waynesburg, maintains a 4.0 grade-point average.

She is treasurer of the National Honor Society, class secretary, drum major of the school’s marching band, saxophone section leader of the concert band, a member of the Waynesburg jazz ensemble and has been a member of the Lions Club Honors Band for two years.

She received academic awards in English, Spanish and science and won first place in a piano competition in Butler, representing her church, First Church of the Nazarene, Waynesburg.

Berry plans to attend Waynesburg University and major in nursing. Her goal is to become a nurse practitioner.

Bish, son of Matt and Mary Bish, Waynesburg, maintains a 3.95 grade-point average.

He is a member of student council, National Honor Society, SADD, Spanish club, choral union, show choir, concert choir, drama club, ski club, varsity club, the prom committee and the Green Team.

He received the Presidential Honors Scholarship from Waynesburg University, where he plans to attend and major in nursing.
