LANCASTER (AP) – The Lancaster County District Attorney said findings will be released next week from an investigation of the Christmas Eve shooting death of a 2-month-old girl.

Kestyn Davis was killed by a gunshot wound to the abdomen inside her family’s apartment in complex in East Lampeter Township.

District Attorney Craig Stedman told The Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era on Friday that a press conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday at the Lancaster County Courthouse.

Investigators have said Kestyn was shot shortly after 2 p.m. on Dec. 24 by an adult male relative, who was home alone with her. He has not been identified.

Authorities said he and other family members have been cooperative in the investigation.
