Harassment charge: Shane W. Hooper, 22, of 407 Duquesne Ave., Canonsburg, will be charged by Canonsburg police with harassment for allegedly punching Sean K. Boehm, 19, of Canonsburg, in the face Monday on Adams Avenue. Hooper claimed Boehm owed him money for back rent, police said.

Stalking charge: West M. Jones, 44, of 40 Brookside Ave., Washington, was charged by Canonsburg police last week with stalking and harassment. He is accused of going to the home of his ex-girlfriend, Terra Desai, last month. When she would not answer the door, he started yelling and honking the horn of his vehicle. He also reportedly sent her 50 emails. The misdemeanor charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

DUI, unauthorized use charges: Alicia A. Peterson, 23, whose last known address was 150 1/2 Elm St., Washington, was charged last week by state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, unauthorized use of a vehicle, criminal mischief and traffic violations stemming from a Sept. 14 crash in front of 140 W. Wylie Ave., Canton. Peterson reportedly took her friend’s vehicle without permission. She struck a utility pole and chain-link fence. Police also found a can of beer on the console of the car. Police said Peterson’s blood-alcohol content was more than twice the 0.08 limit presumed for intoxication. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Mischief charge: Joseph Anthony Shuba Jr., 30, of 307 Castle Road, Washington, was charged last week by state police with criminal mischief. He is accused of kicking the bumper of a vehicle owned by Nicole Shuba, doing $700 in damage, during a Dec. 7 custody exchange at 2250 1/2 Cornelia St., Canton.

Pedestrian injured: James Zamaglio, 75, of 80 Thorne Drive, Washington, was slightly injured Saturday when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Jason Neely, 37, of 129 Alexander Ave., Strabane, at the Washington County Fairgrounds, Chartiers police said. Zamaglio was treated at the scene for knee and back injuries.

Trespass charge: Cody Greer, 18, of 106 Dickson St., Midway, was charged by McDonald police with trespass after he allegedly went onto posted private property at 200 North Ave., Midway, Sunday. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

Driver injured: Geraldine Hooten, 64, of Washington, was injured Monday morning when her sport utility vehicle went off Mt. Zion Road near S Bridge Road, Morris, and slid into a ditch before spinning around, state police said. She was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.
