Borough councils held organization meetings this week. The officials made appointments to leadership positions and determined a schedule for the monthly meetings. The results of the organization meetings are as follows:

• President: Charles Walker

• Vice president: Mike Dohanich

• Solicitor: Jeff Grimes

• Engineer; K-2 Engineering

• Meeting: The second Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the borough building, except this month when council will meet at 6 p.m. Jan. 21.

• President: Jason Dikun

• Vice president: Sherry Forman

• President pro tem: Ida Mary Haftmann

• Solicitor: Dennis Makel

• Engineer: K-2 Engineering

• Meeting: The second Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the borough building.

• President: Mary Shine

• Vice president: Shawn McManis

• President pro tem: Charles Mallory

• Solicitor: Linda Chambers

• Engineer: K-2 Engineering

• Meeting: First Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the log cabin.

• President: Theresa Knight

• Vice president: Sandra Dulik

• Solicitor: Dennis Makel

• Engineer: K-2 Engineering

• Meeting: The first Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Jefferson American Legion

• President: William Kozich

• Vice president: Mark Teegarden
