Drug case: California police said they charged Misty Shyder, 35, of Coal Center, with drug possession over allegation she had Klonopin at her residence Jan. 5 when officers were there at 1 a.m. to investigate an argument.

Bar cited: The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement said Friday it cited the Eldorado, 1109 Route 837, with possessing or operating gambling devices or permitting gambling as part of an April 9 investigation.

Burglary arrest: Raquel M. Gazboda, 25, of 1013 Athalia Ave., Monessen, is charged by township police with burglary, conspiracy, forgery, identity theft, theft and receiving stolen property, court records show. Gazboda is accused of stealing more than $600 from her grandmother, Donna Gazboda of 114 Bogdan Road in Carroll, between Aug. 3 and Sept. 3, the affidavit states. She is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set Thursday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Theft report: Kathy’s Custom Framing, 74 Oak Springs Road, reported two decorative lights stolen from outside the business Wednesday or Thursday, township police said.

Burglary reports: Barbara Woofter, 42, told Southwest Regional police a prescription of Vicodin was stolen in a break-in at her 3422 Fawn Valley Drive residence between 3 and 6 p.m. Thursday. Samuel Scatena of 211 Woods Edge Drive told police about 10:30 p.m. Thursday a television worth $320 was stolen from his home and his cat was missing.

Illegal dumping: Richard Schneider, of 19 Cedar Lane, told Southwest Regional police Thursday that four or five skinned deer carcasses were dumped on his property.

Charges filed: James R. Faris, 21, of 150 Hart Ave., Washington, is accused of having five hypodermic needles, including one loaded with heroin, a glass pipe and one empty heroin stamp bag about 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at his residence when a Washington County parole officer prepared to take him to Washington County jail for a probation violation. City police Friday filed a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia against him at the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Gas stolen: Jack Cargoni, owner of Independent Equipment Transfer of Oakdale, told city police about 4:30 p.m. Thursday one of his company’s credit cards had been used 18 times at a service station on East Wylie Avenue to steal $690 worth of gasoline between October and Jan. 1.
