A former Bentleyville man extradited last week to Washington County from Missouri waived a hearing Monday on four charges of theft that were filed against him by Centerville police.
Timothy Avery Rossell, 26, whose last known address was on Main Street in Bentleyville, was accused of stealing a stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer from a residence he rented at 1173 First St., Centerville, last February. The property is owned by Billie Jo Szuch.
Rossell faces a hearing Jan. 21 before District Judge Curtis Thompson on a litany of charges filed against him by Southwest Regional police, including impersonating a public servant. Rossell allegedly claimed to be a state constable or Missouri state trooper as he negotiated the purchase of vehicles from people.
