A Donora man was arrested Tuesday night by Donora police after he allegedly was found with two handguns that had been reported stolen in Charleroi.
Jeffrey Randall, 22, of 1592 Meldon Ave., was found with the two guns in his jacket pockets, police said.
Police were called to the 1400 block of Meldon about 9:25 p.m. for a report of a man and woman arguing. Police said Randall was hesitant to come over and talk with them. When they checked, they said they found one gun in one of his pockets and a second weapon in another.
Randall also reportedly yelled obscenities and hit the police cruiser. Police said he has an active protection-from-abuse order against him, as well as a prior record that prohibits him from carrying a gun.
Randall was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on two counts each of receiving stolen property and carrying a firearm without a license and one count each of person prohibited from carrying a firearm and disorderly conduct.
He was placed in Washington County jail on $100,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 27 before District Judge Mark Wilson.
