Collision: A car being driven by Kristina L. Stevens, 31, of Washington, was traveling south on Rex Road Friday when she lost control of her vehicle and hit a car being driven by Karen J. Powers, 54, of Pittsburgh, police said. Stevens was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment of a left shoulder injury. Powers was not injured.
PFA Violation: Jordan Petros, 22, is accused of calling Brittni Petros, 23, of 139 Rose Ave. Friday, and violating the terms of a protection from abuse order, police said. Jordan Petros was arraigned and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 straight bond.
Theft: A pole saw and temperature sensing gun were discovered missing Wednesday from the PennDOT building on Jefferson Road, police said.
Theft by unlawful taking: James Hoyle of Hoyle’s Auto Salvage at 483 Clarksville Rd. told police that 29 tire rims were taken from his business Jan. 2.
Motor vehicle crash: Dmytro Nekrasa, 29, of Carnegie, was not injured when his vehicle left the road and hit an embankment while traveling south on I-79 Wednesday, police said.
