Crash: Michael L. Miller, 39, of Washington, was traveling east on I-70 Saturday when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a bridge rail on the right side of the road, police said. He sustained a minor injury.
Crash: Stephen A. Lojek, 35, Carnegie, was traveling west on I-70 Friday when his vehicle went off the left side of the road and hit a guardrail before coming to rest in the median, police said. Lojek’s car damaged about 40 feet of guardrail, with a large piece of it blocking the left lane of the highway. Lojek abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot. PennDOT maintenance workers cut away the piece of guardrail that was blocking the road and Lojek was cited for multiple traffic violations.
Theft: Someone took 300 feet of copper wire from a natural gas well site operated by the Chevron Corp. at 1601 Lone Pine Rd., police said. The theft took place sometime between Jan. 11 to 13.
Crash: Ian D. Glenn, 24, of Pittsburgh, lost control of his vehicle in the northbound lane of I-79 Sunday and it slid off the road and hit a guardrail and spun around before coming to a rest facing north, police said. Neither Glenn nor his passenger, Jeffrey E. Neely, 24, also of Pittsburgh, were injured.
