One injured: Catherine Bashioum, 24, of Washington, was injured Sunday when her vehicle hit a heavy snow patch on Allison Hollow Road, fishtailed over a hill and hit a tree, Chartiers police said. She was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.

Escapes injury: April Donis-Cano of 2095 Washington Road, Canonsburg, escaped injury early Wednesday when her vehicle went off Crossroads Road near Arden Road and hit a small tree after she swerved to avoid a deer, Chartiers police said.

Chain saw stolen: Kyle Apthorpe told Chartiers police Tuesday that a chain saw was stolen from his pickup truck while it was parked at Microtel, 501 Racetrack Road.

Two charged: Jonathan Haines, 29, and Coleen Michelle Haines, 55, both of 487 Craynes Run Road, Waynesburg, were charged by North Franklin police with unsworn falsification to authorities and the unlawful sale or transfer of firearms. Police said they attempted to buy a firearm at Gander Mountain March 18 and knowingly put incorrect information on a federal form. Coleen Haines allegedly attempted a straw purchase after her husband was denied purchase of the firearm. Charges will be filed by summons through the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

One injured: Jamie Killosky, 31, of 6618 Library Road, Library, was taken to Washington Hospital following a two-vehicle accident at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of East McMurray Road, township police said. Vehicles driven by Killosky and Dennis Ladesic, 63, of 561 Pearce Road, Wexford, collided while making left turns from East McMurray Road in and out of the Donaldsons Crossroads shopping center, police said.

One injured: Michael P. Fazzini, 50, of 5033 Meadow Ave., Finleyville, was injured Tuesday afternoon when his vehicle and a vehicle driven by David James Lynch, 27, of 2-A Downer Ave., Elrama, collided head-on in a crash on Coal Bluff Road, Southwest Regional police said. Fazzini went to Monongahela Valley Hospital for treatment.

Assault charge: India McCullough, 22, of 1175 Maple Terrace, Washington, was charged by city police with simple assault. McCullough allegedly punched Lana Thomas multiple times in the face outside Pickle’s Pub on Ewing Street Nov. 10. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Drug charge: Jerry Lovelle Ray Jr., 48, of Pittsburgh, faces drug charges for allegedly having a bag of crack cocaine Dec. 31, 2012, in the 200 block of North Franklin Street, Washington police said. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Assault charges: Anthony McGinnis, 21; James Umensetter, 23; and Casondra Mason, 32, all of 109 W. Walnut St., Washington, were charged by city police with simple assault in connection with a fight July 15 at Mayrz Inn on South Main Street. Umensetter allegedly punched two victims and struck them with a pool cue, and police said Mason chased a female patron and threw glasses, bottles and bar stools. McGinnis faces an additional charge of resisting arrest, and Mason also was charged with criminal mischief for breaking multiple items. Charges will be sent by summons through the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Defiant trespass: Mark D. Myers, 33, of 5 Zelt St., North Franklin Township, was charged by city police with criminal trespassing at the CVS on West Beau Street Jan. 2. Police said Myers was not permitted on the property because he previously harassed employees. Charges will be sent by summons through the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
