PITTSBURGH (AP) – Former Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl has formed a self-named firm, Ravco Consulting, with a single employee: himself.

Ravestahl, whose last day in office was Jan. 6, wouldn’t divulge any of his clients, though he says he hopes to work with natural gas and oil drilling firms, among others.

The 33-year-old former mayor filed papers with the state to create the company Jan. 13 and says he hopes to use what he learned about how government and business works to serve his clients. Ravenstahl says none of his clients have done business with the city after he took office in September 2006.

Ravenstahl said an unspecified federal grand jury investigation, which has subpoenaed his former police bodyguards and others close to him hasn’t affected his plans.

Federal prosecutors have declined to detail the probe.
