Man arrested in separate incidents

A Canonsburg man was arrested early Friday by North Strabane Township and Canonsburg police in separate incidents.
Randall Geno Ray, 36, of 25 VanEman St., is charged by township police with violating a protection from abuse order. Canonsburg police charged him with two counts of endangering the welfare of children.
North Strabane police were called just before 1 a.m. to the home of Renee Church, 188 Wylie Ave., Strabane. Church told police Ray had gone to her home twice in violation of a PFA she obtained against him last year.
While checking for Ray at his residence, Canonsburg police found his pickup truck parked in his driveway. Police spotted a man, later identified as Ray, walking along nearby railroad tracks.
Borough police discovered he left his two sons, ages 7 and 8, asleep in his apartment with no adult supervision. He told police that he left his sons alone so he could go to his girlfriend’s and try to make up with her.
Ray was arraigned on both sets of charges before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $15,000 bond.
