Houston man faces charges in chase
A Houston man faces several charges including fleeing and eluding police after allegedly leading Canonsburg police on two chases Thursday night.
Canonsburg police said they initially tried to stop 26-year-old Trey Adams in Town Park. When he saw the cruiser, he allegedly took off on his motorcycle, passing vehicles in the park.
The pursuit continued on several streets. As Adams turned onto North Central Avenue and then South Central, he continued to pass vehicles before police lost sight of Adams.
A short time later, police spotted Adams on West Pike Street, and they say Adams fled once again. Borough police, with assistance from Chartiers and North Strabane Township police, Houston police and state police, searched for Adams. Police said his motorcycle was found by Houston police behind a home on Arnold Hollow Road in Chartiers, where Adams was taken into custody. He was placed in Washington County jail on an Allegheny County bench warrant. Canonsburg police will file their charges against him later.
