Oak View United Methodist Church will hold a special services weekend that will feature Sam McCollum speaking on the Power of Prayer at 10:30 a.m. Sunday and his son, Braxton, performing a drama and juggling. Everyone is welcome.

Warrior Trail Association will meet at 6:30 p.m. July 17 at the Warrior Trail Headquarters in Fordyce. Speaker will be local author and pastor John Dorean. He will be speaking about his writing experience and signing copies of his books “Murder in Greene” and “Witness in Greene.” This will be a covered-dish dinner meeting. The Warrior Trail Association will be providing the main course. For more information, call Llew Williams at 304-534-2213. This presentation is free and open to the public.

Descendants of John Mack and Nancy Johnson Phillips will hold their 42nd annual reunion July 19 in the lower level of building No. 10 at the Greene County Fairgrounds. Dinner will be at noon with social time continuing until 4 p.m. Each family is to bring a covered dish. Place settings and beverages will be provided.
