Canonsburg Kennywood Day coming up

The 80th annual Canonsburg Community Day at Kennywood is set for Wednesday.

The event is sponsored by the Canonsburg Volunteer Fire Department. Tickets will be sold from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the fire station, Greenside Avenue, as well as from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday.

Ride-all-day tickets are $27, and $17 for anyone over 55.

Buses also will depart from the fire station. Round trip tickets are $15.

Proceeds benefit the fire department.
