Two Washington roommates were arrested Thursday on charges stemming from a Washington County Drug Task Force search of their apartment in May that allegedly turned up nearly 10 ounces of marijuana.

Channing E. Bird, 26, and Dustin R. O’Hair, 25, both of 50 Woodland Ave., were charged with drug delivery, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from an investigation lasting several months, court records state.

The search was carried out at 7:15 a.m. May 20. Detectives alleged several informants had purchased marijuana at the residence during the investigation.

Detectives allegedly seized 234 grams of marijuana from Bird’s bedroom and 41 grams of the drug from O’Hair’s bedroom. They also confiscated $1,023 from the men.

Bird and O’Hair were placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bonds set by District Judge Robert Redlinger.
