WAYNESBURG – A number of criminal defendants were entered into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program Monday by Greene County Judge Farley Toothman.

Those accepted into the program must serve at least one year probation and pay all fines and costs. Defendants charged with driving under the influence of alcohol also may have their driving privileges suspended and are required to refrain from the use or possession of alcohol.

Those who successfully complete the program can petition the court to have their criminal records expunged.

Admitted were:

Gladys Mae Perry, 42, of 214 Second Ave., Crucible, charged with endangering the welfare of a child; on May 5, 2013, Perry’s 3-year-old daughter was found wandering in the woods alone without clothes about 200 feet from her house; the house was in filthy condition; she was entered into the program for two years and must abide by Children and Youth Services’ recommendations.

Tonya Lynn Yeager, 30, of 224 Washington St., Jefferson, charged with theft for stealing an iPad and two gift cards between Dec. 22 and 24 at the Pathways Group Home in Franklin Township.

Zechariah Thomas Penich, 21, of 401 Old Town Road, Carmichaels, charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and four summary violations; arrested Dec. 28, he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.025 percent; he was fined $375; his license was suspended for 90 days.

Brian Michael Smitley, 36, of 117 Schroyers Lane, Carmichaels, charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief; on Sept. 1, he and his girlfriend, Martina Keneipp, entered the First Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Carmichaels and stole about $21 from a cash register; he was fined $25 and ordered to perform 90 hours of community service at the church.

Martina Louise Keneipp, 31, of 117 Schroyers Lane, Carmichaels, charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief; on Sept. 1, she and her boyfriend, Brian Smitley, entered the First Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Carmichaels and stole about $21 from a cash register; she was fined $25 and ordered to perform 90 hours of community service at the church.

Robert Christopher Murphy, 20, of 272 Mt. Morris Road, Mt. Morris, charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia; on Aug. 21, Murphy was found in a van parked at the Waynesburg Playground and was in possession of a syringe and a stamp bag containing heroin.

Joshua Raymond Grimes of 163 E. Greene St., Waynesburg, charged with DUI and two summary violations; arrested Jan. 1, after his vehicle drifted into a parked car in Waynesburg, Grimes had a BAC of 0.217 percent; he was fined $25; his license was suspended 90 days.

Brittany Nichole Miller, 24, of 109 Woodland Ave., Brave, charged with DUI; arrested Nov. 2 following a single-vehicle crash on Route 218, she had a BAC of 0.192 percent; she received a 60-day license suspension.

Jessee James Moore, 23, of 552 Walnut St., Waynesburg; charged with DUI and a summary violation; arrested Jan. 11, he had a BAC of 0.185 percent; he received a $25 fine and 60-day license suspension.

Donna L. Yoder, 61, of 674 Browns Ferry Road, Carmichaels; charged with DUI and two summary violations; arrested Dec. 9, she had a BAC of 0.150 percent.

Gary Wayne Henry, 63, of 205 Rices Landing Road, Rices Landing, charged with DUI and a summary violation; arrested Dec. 25 following a single-vehicle crash in Morgan Township, he had a BAC of 0.188 percent; he was fined $25; his license was suspended for 60 days.
