Theft: A Blue Titan generator was stolen Wednesday or Thursday from property on Rudolph Run Road. The generator is owned by Mark Randall King of Spraggs, said Southwest Regional police.

Scam: Diane Headley of Spraggs told Southwest Regional police she received emails June 5 from an entity identifying itself as Fincen Law Firm telling her she would be prosecuted by the “Financial Crime and Investigation Department” if she failed to purchase a “voucher.” The case has been referred to the state attorney general, police said.
