Salary board approves management adjustments

WAYNESBURG – Greene County salary board Thursday, in addition to approving a 1.8 percent cost of living/salary adjustment for management employees, addressed a host of personnel matters.
The board approved the promotion of Mario Barchiesi to regular full-time recreation facilities manager at a salary of $29,648 per year; approved the promotion of Leon Price from trainee to regular status casual 911 telecommunicator at $10.50 an hour; and accepted the resignation of Alexis Popielarcheck as a clerk in the elections office.
Other action taken included:
• Approved the change in status for Randi Chambers from magisterial assistant floater to permanent magisterial assistant to District Judge Lee Watson.
• Promoted Lynn Leathers to regular full-time magisterial assistant to District Judge Lou Dayich at $14.33 per hour.
• Approved the promotion of Shawn Johnson to regular full-time corrections officer at $154.02 an hour.
• Hired Timothy Young as a regular part-time corrections officer at $14.02 an hour.
• Accepted the resignation of Kiley Cain as a corrections officer.
Sheriff
• Hired Mandy Mudrick as a casual sheriff deputy at $12 an hour.
• Accepted the resignation of Reagan Moore-Boyd as deputy sheriff.
• Hired Christy Somerville as an auditor at $18.69 an hour.
• Accepted the resignation of Nick Wise.
• Approved the termination of Cody Antonini as a temporary IT technician because of the end of a temporary assignment, and hired Rick Smith as a temporary IT technician at $17 an hour.
• Promoted Jackie Sponaugle to regular full-time van driver at $13.92 and an hour.
• Accepted the resignations of Scott Teagarden and John Graham as casual van drivers.
• Hired Seth Krall, Jonathan Krall and Nancy Kingston as casual van drivers at $7.65 an hour, not to exceed 29 hours a week.
