HERMITAGE (AP) – Police and a coroner were investigating the apparent drowning of a man in a residential swimming pool in Western Pennsylvania.

Police in Hermitage, about 60 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, said they were called after 24-year-old Evan Roth, was found in the pool just before 11 a.m. Sunday.

The Mercer County coroner’s office responded and pronounced Roth dead at the scene. The coroner’s office did not immediately return a call for comment.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and that an autopsy was being conducted Monday.
