Country music will be featured from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the New Freeport fire hall. Bands scheduled to appear are Slim Lehart with Lucille Hartley on the keyboards and Ben Tharp and Larry Santee. Cost is $4 and the event is sponsored by the ladies auxiliary.

The 83rd Corbly Reunion is scheduled for Sunday. Activities will begin with the regular church service at 9:30 a.m. at the John Corbly Memorial Church in Garards Fort. The program for the Corbly Association will start at about 10:45 a.m. and a complimentary luncheon will follow. Association members, as well as the general public, are encouraged to attend.
