Vehicle hit by bottle: Ibrahim Mouselem Dauod Abdou-Khalil, 46, of Edgecliff, Texas, was injured about 3:10 a.m. Sunday when a beer bottle thrown from a passing vehicle struck the windshield of his truck, causing it to break. Abdou-Khalil, who had been driving north on Route 221 near Mounts Valley Road, Buffalo, suffered lacerations to his face.
Restaurant cited: The owners of Sam’s Place, 1375 Henderson Ave., Chartiers, were cited by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for reportedly allowing smoking in a public place where smoking is prohibited Oct. 25 and Dec. 6 and 27.
Copper wire stolen: David A. Ross of Bentleyville told state police Feb. 24 that 200 feet of copper wire valued at $1,600 was stolen from property he owns at 36 Oak St., Ellsworth.
Eggs tossed: Dennis Schultz, 131 Third St., McDonald, told borough police Saturday eggs were thrown on his home and vehicle. He told police this is not the first time it has happened.
