ERIE (AP) – A northwestern Pennsylvania man is scheduled to go on trial in July in a shooting at a private ballroom party in northwestern Pennsylvania that killed one man and injured three others.
The Erie Times-News reports that 21-year-old Courtney Harden-Pullium of Erie pleaded not guilty at his formal arraignment Tuesday in Erie County Court.
Harden-Pullium is charged with criminal homicide and multiple counts of aggravated assault, reckless endangering and firearms offenses in the Jan. 5 shooting at the former East Erie Turners ballroom.
Police said 100 to 200 people were there when shots rang out, killing 26-year-old Rashid Anderson.
The victim’s brother, 19-year-old Daquan Henderson, who was seriously injured, testified last month that Harden-Pulliam shot him as revenge for an earlier dispute at a New Year’s Eve party.
