Peters Township firefighters saved all but about 25 percent of a two-story wooden barn on Frosty Valley Drive while fighting a fire at 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

The barn, which has horse stables on the first floor and office and recreational space on the second floor, was unoccupied, firefighters said.

North Strabane Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted, and no injuries were reported. Firefighters were on the scene for about two hours. Although the fire is not considered to be suspicious, a state police fire marshal is investigating.

There were no horses in the stables at the time of the fire.
