Victim identified in fatal East Finley crash

State police said a West Finley man was killed this morning in a one-vehicle crash on Templeton Run Road in East Finley Township.
The vehicle went off the road about a half-mile east of Route 231 and over an embankment. The driver, Eric Shane Mahan, 38, of Skyview Road, was ejected from the vehicle, police said.
Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said the wreckage was discovered about 4:16 a.m. Mahan was apparently traveling east when his vehicle crossed the center line, hit a tree and came to rest on its side against the embankment. He said speed appeared to have been a factor in the crash.
