Old-fashioned bingo will be held today at the Rices Landing Volunteer Fire Department. Early birds start at 6 p.m. and regular games begin at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $4 and each extra card costs $2. Other games of chance will be available. Food and refreshments will be available for sale. The event is sponsored by the Jefferson-Morgan Band Boosters.

The Throckmorton United Methodist Church will hold a community dinner from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today. The menu will consist of spaghetti, meatballs and tossed salad. Desserts and beverages will also be provided. Take-outs are available. Donations will be accepted. Everyone is welcome.

The West Greene Quarterback Club will hold a parent meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the high school. Parents of incoming junior high and varsity players are welcome to attend.
