Police link vehicle to deadly Fayette County crash

PITTSBURGH (AP) – Police say they’ve located a vehicle that may have been involved in a crash that killed two Uniontown Area High School students earlier this week.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported Saturday that state police in Fayette County have identified a black Cadillac that a witness said seemed to be racing with the teens’ vehicle before it crashed head-on into a third vehicle.
A state police spokeswoman tells the newspaper the Cadillac kept going after the crash. Police say they have identified two people believed to have been in the Cadillac but authorities aren’t disclosing their identities.
The Wednesday afternoon crash killed 16-year-old Trevor McFadden and 17-year-old De’Andre Jones, both passengers in a sedan. The driver and a third passenger, both teenagers, were seriously injured.
