AMBRIDGE (AP) – Police are trying to identify the body of a man found in the Ohio River in southwestern Pennsylvania.

The body was found 2 p.m. Monday in the water near Ambridge by workers unloading a nearby barge at Port Ambridge Industrial Park.

The man has not yet been identified.

Police say the body is that of a white man in his 30s, about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 230 pounds. He was wearing a yellow Livestrong bracelet and a bracelet that said “Ann Arbor police.”

It’s believed the body was in the water for several weeks.

Ambridge is about 20 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.
