AMBRIDGE, Pa. (AP) — Autopsy results were pending on the body of a man found in the Ohio River in southwestern Pennsylvania.

The body was found 2 p.m. Monday near Ambridge by workers unloading a nearby barge at Port Ambridge Industrial Park.

Beaver County Coroner Teri Tatalovich-Rossi says the results of Monday evening’s autopsy were pending the completion of tests on body tissues and fluids.

The coroner says it appears the body was in the water for weeks.

The body is that of a white man in his 30s, about 6-foot-2, 230 pounds. He was wearing a yellow “Livestrong” bracelet and a bracelet that said “Ann Arbor police,” which police in that Michigan department say hasn’t been issued in about 15 years.

Ambridge is about 20 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.
